From Col. Jack Novak's estate (West Point Class Of 1943), an older silver Rupee of British India
that he brought back from England after the war. He would exchange them with English citizens who were "stuck" with them - couldn't easily  exchange them for British coins. He brought back several interesting old tobacco and tea tins full of them. Newly minted Lt. Novak was assigned to Gen. Eisenhower's staff in England as a transport pilot (under Gen. Smith) - an interesting momento of the war, perhaps - see condition above. Jack lived here in Alexandria most of his life, my old employees remember him well.  Still unsure (?), see my feedback.
